About Al-Ahad Islamic Welfare Foundation
Guided by Faith, Serving Humanity
The Al-Ahad Islamic Welfare Foundation stands as a beacon of unity in our diverse world, guided by the timeless teachings of Islam and driven by an unwavering commitment to serve all humanity. Our name, “Al-Ahad,” meaning “The One,” reflects our core belief in the Oneness of God and our mission to bring people together under this universal truth.
Who We Are
We are more than just a charitable organization—we are a community of believers dedicated to nurturing spiritual growth, fostering social responsibility, and building bridges of understanding across all faiths. As a federally incorporated non-profit in Canada, we operate within the Islamic charitable framework while welcoming all humanity, regardless of their current beliefs, to connect with the divine and experience the transformative power of faith.
Our Foundation
At the heart of our mission lies the fundamental Islamic principle of Tawhid—the Oneness of God. This belief shapes everything we do, from providing spiritual guidance to new Muslims to offering humanitarian aid to those in need. We believe that recognizing God’s oneness naturally leads to recognizing the unity and dignity of all humanity.

Our Community
The Al-Ahad Foundation nurtures a vibrant, diverse Muslim community that celebrates the rich tapestry of our faith while remaining united in our core beliefs. We create welcoming spaces where individuals can deepen their spiritual connection, engage in meaningful activities, and find the support they need on their faith journey.
Beyond Borders
While rooted in Islamic principles, our work transcends religious boundaries. We collaborate with interfaith partners, support communities worldwide, and provide aid to anyone in need—because true faith calls us to serve all of God’s creation with equal compassion and dignity.
What Drives Us
We are motivated by the Islamic principles of charity (Zakat), social justice, and the Quranic teaching that “whoever saves a life, it is as if he has saved all of mankind.” This divine guidance compels us to extend our hands to those in need, to educate and empower communities, and to build a more compassionate world for all.
