The Al-Ahad Islamic Welfare Foundation is dedicated to supporting individuals and organizations in creating inclusive and respectful environments. Our Religious Accommodation Letter service provides official documentation to help meet the religious needs of Muslims in workplaces, schools, and other settings across Canada and the United States.

We are also open to expanding our services to Europe, Mexico, Australia, and New Zealand as interest grows.

Who Can Request This Letter?

Individuals and institutions can request this letter to meet their diverse religious and Islamic cultural requirements.

  • Muslim individuals seeking workplace, educational, or legal accommodations
  • Non-Muslim HR professionals, managers, educators, or advocates supporting Muslim colleagues, employees, or students
  • Legal professionals requiring formal documentation for religious accommodation cases

What Does the Letter Cover?

Our letters can confirm and explain a wide range of Islamic religious practices, including:

  • Daily prayers (Salah) at prescribed times
  • Time and space for prayer (including Friday/Jum’ah prayer)
  • Halal dietary requirements and food handling
  • Fasting during Ramadan and related schedule adjustments
  • Observance of Eid al-Fitr and Eid al-Adha (religious holidays)
  • Religious dress (hijab, kufi, beard) and modesty requirements
  • Time off for Hajj (pilgrimage)
  • Other specific needs (please specify in your request)

How It Works

  2. Verification: We verify your identity and the details provided to ensure accuracy, authenticity, and confidentiality.
  3. Receive Your Letter: Once processed, you will receive an official signed letter via the chosen mode (email or mail), ready to submit to your employer, school, or institution.

Service Fee:

To cover our administrative costs for processing requests, the following fee structure applies. Payment is required only after your request is reviewed and accepted:

  • Electronic Delivery (PDF via Email): US $10 / CA $13
  • Mail Delivery – US/Canada (Physical Letter): US $15 / CA $18, plus actual shipping charges (calculated at checkout)
  • Mail Delivery – International (Physical Letter): US $22, plus actual international shipping charges and any customs fees (if applicable)

Please note:

  • Shipping charges are based on destination and selected delivery speed.
  • Customs fees, if any, are the responsibility of the recipient.

Fee Waiver for Financial Hardship:

We are committed to making our services accessible to all. If you or your family are experiencing financial hardship and are unable to pay the service fee, you may request a fee reduction or waiver. Simply indicate your need on the request form. In most cases, no documentation is required, but we may contact you for additional information if needed. All requests are treated with strict confidentiality and respect.
